The updated MIUI 13 based on the new Android 12 is already available for Xiaomi smartphones in the Chinese market. The company is now gearing up to begin rolling out its firmware to the global market.
On Wednesday, December 26, as part of the global launch of the Redmi Note 11 smartphone, the Chinese tech giant published a list of devices that will receive the international version of
MIUI 13 in the first quarter of this year.
Who will be the first to receive MIUI 13
Last year’s flagships of the company – smartphones of the Mi 11 and 11T series, including models with the Lite prefix, will be the first to receive the new Xiaomi OS.
MIUI 13 during the first wave in the first quarter of 2022 will receive the following models:
- Mi 11 Ultra
- Mi 11
- Mi 11i
- Mi 11 Lite 5G
- Mi 11 Lite
- Xiaomi 11T Pro
- Xiaomi 11T
- Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE
- Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G
- Redmi Note 11 Pro
- Redmi Note 11S
- Redmi Note 11
- Redmi Note 10 Pro
- Redmi Note 10
- Redmi Note 10 JE

Important! The latest version of MIUI is not necessarily based on the latest version of Android. Since Xiaomi has not revealed which versions of Google’s OS the firmware will be based on, it can be assumed that not all devices on the list will receive MIUI 13 based on Android 12.
Recall that MIUI 13 was introduced by Xiaomi at the end of December. In the latest firmware, the Chinese company noted privacy and security.
Tablets received a separate firmware version called MIUI 13 Pad, which is optimized to work on devices with large screens and offers users advanced multitasking capabilities.
